| DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: | The project includes: • The construction of infrastructure and other facilities necessary for the organization and operation of landfill • The treatment and monitoring of environmental impacts from the construction and operation of landfill • The construction of the plant access roads (North and South Grammatiko Bypass). The phase A of sanitary landfill has the following characteristics: • Total Surface: 153.266 m2 • Annual inflow of waste: 127.000 tn /a • Capacity: 2.000.000 m3 The study and construction of landfill in Grammatiko consist of: 1. Configuration and exploitation works of landfill 2. Seal works of landfill 3. Leachate management and treatment. 4. Biogas management works. 5. Flooding prevention works 6. Internal and external road works 7. Buildings and other infrastructure 8. Environmental monitoring and control works 9. Organisation and operation works and technical support for the operation and staff training |
