DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:The northern bypass of K.Achaia (Part I) designed from 0 + 000 to 1 + 522 (new alignment) is the beginning of the first segment. Next is the improvement of the existing road to Niforaiika (N.R) designed from 1 + 522 to 2 + 580 (end of part I).
Next is the Niforaiika detour designed from 2 + 580 (beginning of Section II) to 5 + 370 followed by an existing municipal-rural road. From 5 + 370 is the beginning of Kalamaki bypass. A village southern bypass is proposed from 5 + 370 (K4 junction) to 7 + 247 (K5 junction, end of section II).
Just before the entrance road to the 116 is the beginning of the third Section of Araxos bypass with a total length of 3.177,30 m, and consists of the existing road improvements and the Araxos settlement bypass (new alignment). From 0 + 000 to 2 + 200 the Araxos settlement bypass is designed. At 0 + 000 the connection with the county road of Lakkopetra – Araxos is designed. From 2 + 200 to 2 + 850 an improvement of the existing road is envisaged.
The design of eleven (11) in total junctions is envisaged for the functionality of the entire project two of which are designed in Section I (K. Achaia detour), four in Section II (Niforaiika – Kalamaki detour) and five in Section III (Araxos detour).
